Our Historic Cider Mill welcomes you daily to enjoy a delightful selection of freshly pressed cider, homemade donuts, and a variety of delicious baked goods. Come experience the charm and taste the tradition!

Apple Tent

Explore our selection of Yates apparel and gifts, along with a variety of apples harvested throughout the fall season. Available daily in September and October, you can choose from pre-bagged apples or enjoy the experience of bagging your own. Additionally, we offer an array of jams, jellies, honey, maple syrup, and snacks.

Pumpkin Baked Goods

Come to Yates for all things pumpkin! Indulge in seasonal delights, from our famous pumpkin pies to an array of other pumpkin-inspired treats. Celebrate fall with us and bring a friend—there’s something for everyone!

Picnic Areas

There are plenty of picnic tables scattered throughout our beautiful property, providing the perfect spot to relax and savor your cider and donuts. For a truly picturesque experience, find a table next to the river and enjoy the serene, scenic surroundings while you indulge in our delicious treats.

Frankenmuth Fudge Shop

We offer a wide variety of Frankenmuth Fudge, taffy, and peanut brittle. Visit us on most fall weekends to watch fudge being made right before your eyes. We’re open daily in September and October.

Food

The Hot Dog Trailer and Roasted Corn (while supplies last) are available on the weekends!

Farm Animals

Come meet the delightful animals at our petting zoo this fall, where a variety of friendly creatures are ready to make your visit memorable. Among our adorable residents, the goats are especially eager to interact and can’t wait to be fed some delicious animal feed! You can easily pick up a bag of animal feed inside the cider mill, so you and your family can enjoy a fun, hands-on experience feeding our furry friends.

Pony Rides

Starting after Labor Day, join us for pony rides available exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays. There’s an 80 lb weight limit per rider, and each ride costs $8.

Hiking & Biking Trails

Enjoy a walk on the old railroad along the Clinton River. Many other foot paths will lead to Holland Ponds, Gene Shepherd Park or circle back to the cider mill. Connections to Bloomer Park, Clinton River Trail and Macomb Orchard Trail are a short distance from the cider mill.
